This is Tommasi s bread and butter wine. The 2012 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico offers an authentic and predictable expression from one of Italy s most tradition-driven appellations. The wine opens to dried fruit aromas with black cherry and cassis at the front. Background tones include tar, resin, dark tobacco and spice. Next to its peers, Tommasi s Classico Amarone is thinner and less impactful. This vintage also feels medium in length.
